Hello everyone,
It has been a while since you were able to enjoy the last stuff for the stash post, or any other article on this newsletter, and I wanted to share with you an update of what has been going on.
Announcing Amanita Security
I have been working on this different project in the background, and today I’m very happy to announce the launch of Amanita Security, a new security consulting company dedicated to providing trusted cybersecurity services to product manufacturers.
Product manufacturers are expected to experience a significant shift towards improved cybersecurity in the next few years. This is not only out of necessity to ensure more secure products, but due to the new regulations being established.
Amanita Security is all about helping manufacturers succeed with this transition in a holistic manner, by ensuring technical product security is achieved from circuit board to the cloud, and by integrating sensible approaches to cybersecurity into your product lifecycle and processes.
When you partner with Amanita Security, you can expect first-class tailormade, independent projects that help meet your security objectives.
Amanita’s approach is firmly rooted in decades of deep technical, domain and organisational expertise, paired with a friendly, proactive collaborative approach.

The future for INT3
Future long form articles will be released on https://www.amanitasecurity.com/posts/ . While I understand this does not have the benefit of receiving an email, as is the case with Substack, the page has an RSS feed available which can be used to be notified of new posts through your email client or feed reader.
Starting next week, a first number of articles will be released on the different cybersecurity regulations that products must comply with in Europe, a task which will keep many of us occupied in the coming years, whether we must integrate NIS2, the radio equipment directive updates, or the cyber-resilience act. While not a technical topic per se, though it has technical elements, I believe these regulatory initiatives will strongly dominate our conversations in the near term future.
A number of more technical articles will follow. As I am not yet firmly decided on the topics of those, I’d love to hear your suggestions if you have any.
I hope you will join me on this new adventure, and contact me in case you could use any assistance on the topic of product security.
Sincerely yours,
Thierry
